Etiquette Fundamentals

1. Respect Others: Always be mindful of your fellow players. Keep noise levels down while others are throwing and avoid distractions.
2. Pack Out Trash: Leave the course cleaner than you found it. Carry out any trash you bring in, including wrappers, bottles, and other waste.
3. Ready Golf Pace: This means players should be prepared to throw when it’s their turn. If you're ready, throw! This keeps the game flowing and respects everyone’s time.

Rules Guide

1. Tee Order/Throwing:
   • In a mixed skill group, it’s generally best to follow the farthest first principle. The player whose disc is farthest from the basket should throw first.
   • This rule helps maintain a smooth pace and allows beginners to observe and learn from more experienced players.
2. Out of Bounds (OB) Rules:
   • Any area designated as out of bounds (marked with lines, flags, or signs) means that if your disc lands in that area, you must take a penalty stroke.
   • The next throw is made from the last place the disc was in bounds, not where it went out.
   • Always be aware of OB areas, as they can drastically affect your score and strategy.

Pro Tips

• Yell “Fore!”: If your throw is heading toward other players, yell “fore!” to alert them. This is crucial for safety and shows respect for others on the course.
• Keep Moving: If you’re waiting on someone to throw, stay ready and be prepared to retrieve your disc quickly once it’s your turn.
• Communicate: In a mixed skill group, check in with teammates about strategy and discuss any potential OB areas before starting a hole.
